About Jared
My Commitment to your pets
Hi, I’m Jared, a lifelong dog lover, experienced walker, and dedicated volunteer who believes every dog deserves a life full of joy, adventure, and care. I’m a Lincoln Park resident, living on a beautiful tree-lined street in Chicago, and I share my days with two amazing dogs of my own: Sylvia, an affectionate 8-year-old Great Pyrenees mix, and Parker, an energetic Beagle-Terrier mix who keeps things fun and unpredictable.
For over a decade, I’ve walked and cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments across Chicago. I’ve also been actively involved with incredible rescue organizations like PAWS Chicago, One Tail at a Time, and the Michigan Animal Rescue League. In 2017, I was proud to be the number one overall fundraiser for PAWS Chicago, a reflection of how deeply I care about the well-being of animals in our community. I continue to foster, fundraise, donate, and advocate for dogs however I can.
My mission is simple: to make every walk the best part of your dog’s day. Whether it’s a relaxed neighborhood stroll or an exciting park adventure, your pup will enjoy safe, personalized care and plenty of love along the way. I can’t wait to meet your dog soon!

About Jared
Jared’s Commitment to Pets
My love for dogs truly began in 2010 when my family brought home our Yellow Labrador, Cazzie. From that day on, dogs have been the heartbeat of my life. Now, my days revolve around my own wonderful dogs — Sylvia and Parker — who join me on long adventures, often walking 10 or more miles a day, and sometimes as much as 18 miles when we’re feeling extra adventurous! I’ve also combined my passion for dogs and running by completing four Chicago Marathons for TEAM PAWS Chicago. Next year, in 2026, I’m excited to run the Chicago Marathon again — this time with One Tail at a Time — to continue supporting rescue work that means so much to me. I’ve been boarding and walking dogs in the Chicago and Metro Detroit areas for years and am known for my friendly energy, thoughtful care, and genuine love for every pup I meet. Walking dogs isn’t just my job, it’s my calling, my joy, and my way to make tails wag and days brighter.
